Step 5: Checking Codebook again and checking statistical assumptions

1) Rechecking the Codebook by running the Codebook function again.

Statistical assumptions were checked by using the Explore function. Some of the statistical assumptions that were tested were assumptions of normality, outliers, skewness and kurtosis, and Shapiro-Wilk's W and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test.

2) Explore function can be found by clicking Analyze > Descriptive Statistics > Explore.

3) Wanted variables were moved to the Dependent List box.

4) In the Explore Statistics box, Outliers option was ticked, and Descriptives too which were ticked by default already.

5) In the Explore Plots box on the other hand, Histogram was ticked alongside the Normality plots with test option. Continue > OK were pressed to obtain the outputs. 

6) Finally, the Explore outputs produced looked like this and all that was left to do was interpret the outputs.
